The issue seems to be with whoever the third person in the room was. I hate people who get offended on others behalf.

Caro has obviously been fed this persons story and keeps going with it wothout listening to rendell at all. Shes just proving that she is the worst journalist in football and survives on being nothing more than an afl mouthpiece.

Yeah never been a thomas fan myself, i understand it was his mate, but he didnt even try to defend him, or get into a shouting match with caro, he just let people speak. Very good display of control by him tonight.

Interesting the comments Rendell had to say about this years draft, to sign a contract because of one draft "that could top off your list" id love to hear what other recruiters are saying.

I don't think Rendell is an overt racist.

But like most Australians he has deeply ingrained racist thought patterns.

What he said was ridiculous.

It is untenable to have an AFL head recruiter who has said, on the record "I will only draft kids with 1 white parent". It is just a stupid thing to think, let alone say.

I feel a bit sorry for Rendall who will think he's been harshly treated, but i also felt a bit sorry for Damian Monkhouse.

But attitudes need to be changed out there.

Maybe some others can see where we were coming from 5 or so years ago (and since) when we said she reports rumour, half truth and lies as fact when reporting on a our club in particular.

Her modus operandi is now so glaringly obvious that she cannot continue to be taken seriously on any subject.
