Delisted by the Cats, His an All Australian, hasn't played a game since round 22, 2007.. Is he worth the punt?
wtf ever happened to him?
Last I heard they were not concerned over whether he'd be able to play footy again.......more concerned over whether he would ever be able to walk properly again.

Why would Geelong delist him after playing in a Premiership and earning AA selection? I'll let you ponder that one.
wtf ever happened to him?
He will not play next year and his chances of playing ever again are extremely doubtful. Quite simply it is an injury that he may not recover from sufficiently to play football at the highest level.
If he does make it back, I hope all clubs leave him for Geelong to pick up again.

Feel very sorry for him. If he has been delisted from Geel, I would expect him to retire. Geel would be keeping him if he is a realistic chance of playing again. Expect him to possibly go into some sort of coaching role with Geelong.

Broke his navicular (sp?) bone in his foot. Apparently it doesn't have a good blood supply to the bone making it hard to heal. Very similar to what nearly ended James Hird's career.
I hate the term delist. From what I know it was a mutual decision by club and player with the promise of re-drafting him if he heals. He will also be an assistant coach at the club. It sucks, but after holding him for two years with little improvement we really had to let him go![]()

So do I, and I assume most clubs will leave him to us![]()
