He'll be in the 21 next week ... for sure ... :thumbsu:

I'm guessing Jarman or Jasper will be the sub
agree - although you would think given the first two weeks matchups seeing Impey play on Garlett and Betts that he will go to Lindsay Thomas.

I would not mind seeing Impey as the Sub and Jonas going straight to Lindsay Thomas

I love Whitey and think so far he has been a great pick up.
He will be used on and off as the sub. Certain games where the clubs feels we need a bit of extra run and oomph in the last qtr, White will provide that. ie, against maybe Geel, Hawks, Syd, Freo he may well be sub. In games where he can have a clear match up or just the freedom to run loose he will. My guess is he will play 8-10 games as sub this season and the rest as a starting 22 (baring form drop and/or injury)

Fast becoming a favourite. Kenny only picks guys with good character. Team first or get out of Dodge.

Thanks Sims01

Gave me goosebumps!!!! Hes now one of my favorite players ;)

Turns out Hinkley told Broady, and White if they played very well as sub, they would get a full game.

And he apparently went up to Kenny in the changerooms and reminded him of that

As Asgardian said its probably between Jasper and Jarman and I hope Ken says the same thing and they repeat what Broadie and White did.

I loved White's confidence to run and gun all last quarter.

Then disappoint and back to being the "super sub".

A lot of money for a guy who plays his best football sitting on the bench for most of the match.

Pretty sure we didn't pay a lot for him mate. At least probably not more than what you guys had him on. Speculation though.

He played well in round 1 for what it's worth. Created a number of goals.

Round 1 - 12 disposals and 2 pivotal goal assists against Carlton in 83%GT
Round 2 - 2 goals and 2 goal assists against Adelaide in 26%GT

If his ROI is a part-payment plan he's currently in credit.

Had three direct goal assists (I've got no idea which one Champion Data missed), plus one indirect assist where he won a contested ball, bullocked through and fed a handball out to Ebert who then hit a target inside 50. Plus he kicked two running behinds which more often than not he would've gobbled up. That was a very underrated game. Could've been directly responsible for 6 goals with a bit of luck.

Others have indulged your troll, I'd prefer to merely say **** off ****er

I wonder what Kenny thought about the goal he kicked when Butcher was wide open. When does backing yourself outweigh the team effort, especially after listening to Kenny's pre-match speech?

I'm not having a crack because he has kicked those type of goals before and good on him for backing himself in and taking the shot, but Butch was wide open for a set shot on his trusty right boot from 20m.

It's tough being a coach and knowing what to praise and criticise. Kenny might have told him great goal but if you'd missed ... ;)

White on a lot of money? At least we're giving him a fair salary & aren't paying a bloke who'd be leading his clubs B&F (Thomas) a rookie salary. He's been a good pick up for them, I'm glad for him that his career wasn't over as he's a good bloke.
I've seen this thrown around a few times, and it's quite blatantly false. Thomas was permanently upgraded from the Rookie List, and he can no longer be paid a rookie salary. Also, because he's previously been on an AFL list, there are additional salary protections he gets; he gets at least the minimum senior salary.
