He is the captain of an afl side which comes with a level of respect. Admiration is a bit of a stretch.

Truth is he's an average, but dependable player who speaks clearly but has no command presence.

C'mon people. Everyone seems to be viewing the exception as the rule.

VB is shit because he had a very bad year in 2013 (even though he finished top 10 in the clubs B&F from 2010 - 2012).

Adelaide is ready to challenge for a flag because we had a great run in 2012 (never minding that in 3 of the last 4 years we have finished 11th or lower).

Matthew Wright is untradeable because he has was good in 2012 (even though he has shown nothing since and small midfielders who are 24 aren't exactly on the up).

If no other club is willingly try to snare Wright, why did Brisbane ask about him?

As a comparision, Carlton resigned Bootsma for 2 years in late August, and are openly shopping him around.

I wouldn't call 2 years long term, especially with players signing 5-10 years, though I would sign Crouch Danger Douglas Tex and Sloane to 5 year deals
