Which pick range do you reckon he would fall?We have said to be keen. Works at the club and tore us a new one down in Frankston a few weeks back.

Could Tom Lewis play AFL?
With a draft that does not inspire, there may be a few mature age guys selected, especially in the late picks.Be a bit surprised to not see Raso picked up this offseason out of Richmond's VFL. Mostly a mid as a junior but reckon he has a lot of upside after playing this season a lot as a small and running through the middle as a bit of a jumpstart. Especially given imo, a bit of a weak small forward class
There may well be considerable competition for Derkson: a lot of clubs are looking for a key defender.Saints could look at Tom Blamires, Wade Derksen & Jackson Voss for list depth & positional needs
Not sure if we are still intending to use Tex Wanganeen as a train on player.
Ive seen almost all of Jacko's games and he well and truly deserves to be on an AFL list.Saints could look at Tom Blamires, Wade Derksen & Jackson Voss for list depth & positional needs

Wouldn't one just DFA list him then? There may well be considerable competition for Derkson: a lot of clubs are looking for a key defender.
That would be logical. However, teams might be waiting until after the ND before they show their hands in that regard. That seems to be the norm these days, which makes sense with list spots being so valuable.Wouldn't one just DFA list him then?

That would seem to be the case. Not sure I understand the reason, to be honest, with a less than stellar draft cohort, but what do I know? It's not that strong competition for him then
Jacob Blight seems a no brainer for WCE for mine. That would seem to be the case. Not sure I understand the reason, to be honest, with a less than stellar draft cohort, but what do I know?
There were rumours that Jacob Blight might be headed to Collingwood, but even they've gone quiet. As a DFA, he can be picked up as easily as Derkson. Yet ... nada.
It would seem logical. But not all recruiting decisions are particularly logical. Spock could never have been an AFL recruiter; too much passion involved.Jacob Blight seems a no brainer for WCE for mine.

Pretty sure Blight has signed for Subiaco in the WAFL, I think if we didn't sign Young we almost certainly would have picked him up.It would seem logical. But not all recruiting decisions are particularly logical. Spock could never have been an AFL recruiter; too much passion involved.
good shout this and one Collingwood obviously agrees withEx swans Academy player Angus Anderson was BOG for Sturt today. I was surprised Sydney overlooked him 4 years ago. Has taken him a while to develop (was regularly playing reserves prior to this year), but has gone from strength to strength this year. Booming kick and a point of difference as a mid being 190cm.
Big fan of Alex Holt too, so composed behind the ball and really come of age in the 2nd half of the year.

exposed form for longer maybe for Billy across two state leagues? he is a ripping young fellaWe were both on the Cootee train too!
Very surprised Harry Scott didn’t get an opportunity
I think Blamires could be a good lock down defender in the Afl, yes, he doesnt have penetration with his kicking, chips it around moreso. After careful consideration can probably understand why Tom Blamires wasn't picked.
Although a nice and neat player, what outstanding AFL attribute does he possess? Whilst quick enough, he isnt lightning for an outside leaning mid, his kicking whilst effective, isnt a weapon like others.
He runs all day so possibly that and spreads well, gets from contest to contest with ease but being a nice and neat player probably only gets you so far. Still think he (and Jackson Voss) deserves a shot at being on an AFL list, perhaps list sizes being too small has denied him that shot
