He then had a choice : a) show some balls and go for the ball, b) close his eyes, turn his head and try and protect himself.

He chose b). = reckless and no care for the player going for the ball.

After watching the replay again, he clearly see's Max and he craps himself.

He's a coward.

But given the interpretation of the laws these days, they won't suspend him, they'll give him the Brownlow.

you pratt. this is what happened. grant lead directly to the ball, hudgton threw himself backwards into grants path at the last moment, deflecting the ball to grants left. grants arms follow the new flight of the ball to the left and he turns his body to brace for impact.

a) grants intent and only intent was to catch the ball
b) there is no way there could have been no collision considering hudgtons late arrival
c) hudghton hit his head on the ground - he was never colelcted in the head by grant. there was no head high contact you morons - and you know who you are
d) Im annoyed that the umpire gave a knee-jerk free against grant. it should have been a ball up.
