I'm still buzzing. I remember reading about the Kimg twins a a year ago and thinking "damn, there are another two beauties we'll miss out on." Not predicting our fall down the ladder at all, or his ACL. Not that either either of those things are good, but to get a tall forward this talented, who has been a life-long Saints fan, is just brilliant.

We're an underdog team, we thrive on these moments. Imagine him becoming our next superstar, if not for 2 seperate unfortunate things it wouldn't have happened.

I think he's going to be like Hipwood personally, just build bit by bit per year and give fans something to love.

Obviously stoked to land max. Was only the very few that has been on him this whole year when not many were! We’ve got that elite talent we were after and I genuinely can’t wait to see him in the rwb. I can see him playing earlier than Most expect aswell he’s special.

No need to rush big Maxxy, he’s not going to play until the back end of the year coming off his knee and he’s just turned 18, he’s a long term investment.

He is one of the the best talents I’ve seen come through the draft, and that was last year as a 16 year old.

At 204.7 cm, anyone who thinks this is a bad pick is a lunatic who genuinely is either a troll or just plain ignorant.

Bit disappointed with some of the comments here. I wanted a skilled and quick mid, didn’t get that but got a potential, once in a generation tall, that may be like no other player I’ve seen (for that reason, I’d rather he didn’t get 12). He may turn out to be a bust but so can anyone. I can happily live with that.
I’m not optimistic about McCartin but see no reason to drag the disappointment of his progress into this either. I do get the potential forward structure stuff and struggle to see both playing in the same team in a year or two but the game constantly changes, so who knows?
I’m guessing Christmas present opening time is a bit on the traumatic side in a few saints households.

Ok i have had my cry about Rozee now its time to welcome the big man , i must say to see him look so happy to be drafted by the Saints put a grin on my face and the thought of maybe getting his brother back in a few years is pretty exciting .
