Now we have a generation of supporters growing up with our club, hopefully improves our retention of players who want to play for us.
Yep I keep telling people us old Snaffles will die off and clubs like Norwood, Sturt, Centrals and South will have to find other ways to engage the local population or die tryingNow we have a generation of supporters growing up with our club, hopefully improves our retention of players who want to play for us.
Different from growing up watching sanfl.

Not really as Doedee is having a decent season too.... & is rated higher, but he should for an experienced player.
Main thing with Michalanney is that he’s incredibly well rounded as a defensive talent. Doedee more of a pure interceptor at a lesser height, but nonetheless a quality oneKind of, but that's more to do with Max looking like an exceptional talent at the moment. Doedee is building into a rather good season in his own right.
Concession picks have won quite few flags.I won't debate impressive, but Michaelanny is not our most important draft pick, and will never be that in this build. That's Thilthorpe and Rachele. Ultimately, whatever aspirations we have in the future rest in those two (+ Fog and Rankines) hands.
That said, the fact he's come in and looks a bonafide jet as a free hit does bode well from our future. It's damn hard to win a premiership without a concession pick going your way in this league.
Just want to make mention that Max this week played on, and destroyed, Jaime Elliot. The same bloke that regularly tore us apart, kicking bags of goals and looked unstoppable.
He's a special talent.
He isn't the flashy 20+ disposal type of player so will go years without any due recognition. There’s no doubt about it, he’s a gun. I can’t believe how good he is.
Just so smart with his body work and decision making, not only with the ball but without it.
Plus he’s generally got very good disposal and doesn’t panic. The only time he’s come unstuck is when he’s tried to be aggressive with his disposal but I’d prefer that than a Jake Kelly attitude.
If he keeps it up he has to be in the AA squad at least.
As for our B&F, he’d be up there with Laird and Dawson given he gets the job done every week.
Don’t agree with that, he’s already getting recognition by the commentators when he plays. He isn't the flashy 20+ disposal type of player so will go years without any due recognition.
We as supporters see him as a vital cog but similarly to a Luke Brown who was arguably first picked in our side for a long time no one outside of the club will recognise him for a little while yet.
Serious question..he is a very intelligent footballer, has sublime skills by foot and reads the play like a veteran, tackles had and well and gets to the right spots. At his height and with some more size 'could' he become that big bodied elite midfielder we have been after???There’s no doubt about it, he’s a gun. I can’t believe how good he is.

I’m all for trying things, without trying it who knows.Serious question..he is a very intelligent footballer, has sublime skills by foot and reads the play like a veteran, tackles had and well and gets to the right spots. Alternatively try to become the 20th team in the AFL.Yep I keep telling people us old Snaffles will die off and clubs like Norwood, Sturt, Centrals and South will have to find other ways to engage the local population or die trying
Port Magpies are already gone
Big bodied elite midfielder we have been after...?? I thought this turned out to be Dawson all along. I wouldn't rule out Pedlar as well, his U18 show us what he can do in there.Serious question..he is a very intelligent footballer, has sublime skills by foot and reads the play like a veteran, tackles had and well and gets to the right spots. Personally I think he could play nearly any position on the ground a do just fine. And i'd like to see him as a part of a 2nd half magnet shuffle from time to time this season, purely to see how he handles a mid game role change.Serious question..he is a very intelligent footballer, has sublime skills by foot and reads the play like a veteran, tackles had and well and gets to the right spots. Pedlar is going to be so fun to watch when he goes into the middle.Big bodied elite midfielder we have been after...?? I thought this turned out to be Dawson all along. I wouldn't rule out Pedlar as well, his U18 show us what he can do in there.
Its AA form absolutely no question for his positionSerious question, is he the best of his kind in the league?
I’d be inclined to think this kind of high-level shutdown consistency is close to unprecedented
