How can any true blue blooded Carlton supporter keep calling Princes Park by anything other than it's real name...

Sure the sponsors have naming rights to our great and glorious home... but thats just the stadium made of concrete and steel. At the end of the day it is still Princes Park and always will be!

It can be called PP or the brickyard if you want to.

Yes the club needs money and calling Princes Park whatever the sponsor with the naming rights wants to call it is ok...

But when the true supporters start calling it by MC Labour park or Optus Oval you know that something is wrong with the supporters.

either they have only been supporting the blues since we started selling off the naming rights or they arent that good a supporter in the first place...

And for what it's worth Johnny_3 it's Princes, not Princess... a princess has no balls

i know how un traditional it sounds but i tend to call it optus oval cause thats the era the club was at when i was growing up.
to me call it mc labor
wear light blue jumpers
do whatever the hell you want

all you need to know is we were the most dominant club in AFL HISTORY
we ARE THE MOST DOMINANT CLUB IN AFL HISTORY AND WE ALWAYS WILL BE so it doesnt matter wtf u call it we're still the blues

the area is still princes park i hated it when they went to Optus Oval even then i never called it optus oval i refused to call it any name but Princes Park.

I'm happy to call it MC Labour Park, as long as MC Labour hire continue to sponsor the club. If they increase their sponsorship I might even mention it every time I post on here.

FWIW, I am also very happy to wear my training shirt with Optus, Dan Murphy's & Nike on it. Must get myself a pair of shorts with K & S Freighters on them too. Any other sponsors want to sign up, I will mention their names, too.
