MCG Parking?

Never drivin to a cats game at the G before and wondering what road to get into the car park. Punt road im guessing?

Punt Road and Batman Avenue entrances will be open. I would advise parking elsewhere though - it's a nightmare to try and get out of the MCG carpark after a game. I was on my way into the city last night and got stuck in traffic on Punt Road for more than half an hour.. I wasn't even going to the match.

I'd recommend parking on Victoria Parade or at Federation Square. Each is only a 10 minute walk away and it'll be so much easier to get away post-match. If you park on Victoria Parade after 6.30pm you won't have to pay anything either.

Or just in richmond somewhere. If you get there a little earlier than you had planned you can always find something in the sidestreets.

Normally park near 7 studios or the army barracs and walk through the park. Easy access from Geelong, quick getaway.

I always park near the rowing club on the other side of the river. Somehow I always manage to land a park in there.

Easy access from the West Gate and only a short walk to the ground.

...not that it's much help now.
