Over the next 2 weeks firstly we obviously need to win but we also need to generate some much needed percentage. But i have been all but one of our games at the MCG and it really annoys me that we just cant put sides away and win by 5-10 goals. We always seem to get over the line by 1-3 goals. In general we havnt had an overly easy win at the g' this year. The most easy was essendon 2 weeks ago and they were within a goal during the last qtr. Anybody else have similar views??

Do we have the ability to comfortably beat a side? I'd love to see nothing more than a big win this week becuase we need some percentage. We fight to win games of football, so it's hard to read where we're at in the premiership race.

I think our % is probably only going to come into play against the Roos.
We are on 101, and they are on 105.

We are probably too far behind the others teams in % to really make up the ground. 10% is very hard to make up this late in the season.

I think we are 10 goals behind the Roos, so if we can win by 5 goals, and they lose by 5, our % should be higher than theirs.

Yeah i am of the belief that the Roo's percentage is our only chance. Hawks, WC and the swans all will end the year with much better percentages than ours.

Our mission form here on in is quite simple WIN every game.Otherwise we can look forward to next year.
If we don't make top 4,we will be bundled out, during the finals.
Are we a top 4 side this year or are we pretenders ?
My worry is our Ruck stocks come finals ?

that is completely irrational thinking! Only the westcoasts and gellongs can hope to thrash sides week in week out. we are a young side who is doing well to be where we are. what are you on about

I thought the Bomber loss was the worst.
Playing against that rabble, we finally hit the lead in the last quarter, and then just gave the game up.

That too.

Wins on the board get you there, percentage is just icing on the cake, but its not something you can plan for in advance.

well said, lets just win our games and if we get good percentage then thats just a bonus

i dunno i just think when teams start worrying about percentage they already make the assumption that they have won the game, which is never the case until all four qtrs are over

If we win all our remaining games, percentage won't matter. The Hawks, Port, Eagles, Kangaroos and Geelong all play each other which should suit us fine, we just need to hold up our end of the bargain.

Win every game we are top 4 percentage comes in if we drop one against Adelaide or Sydney i hope to god we dont drop one against Richmond or melbourne might as well not play in september if that happens

Correct. We had room to lose one of these two games and still make top four, but we pretty much blew that chance when we lost to the Lions. Now we probably have to win every game unless other results fall in our favour. Eagles Kangas and Power all losing last week helped a lot.
