Did the extra led signage at the G annoy anyone else? So distracting. Its not likely they will remove it, so why not turn down the brightness during the game. Use the dimmer settings!!

During the Friday night game the electronic signage was noticeably bright. But not sure if it was brighter than usual or just the usual brightness.

Yep. Was really annoying at the start of the game, it actually distracts you from the play.

Main issue: the moving ads. While the game is in play, you don’t need moving graphics.

Secondary issue, they are too bright.

Actually thought this would be talked about more before our game after I copped it Saturday.

The G use Robyn only have electronic signage on the fence and first deck, but now it's on every deck which also makes it stand out more..

But agree it's brighter and more "moving" than ever before.

Surprised we haven't seen teams or coaches complain about it distracting yet

Don't generally notice it at the game but did on Friday night so they will probably think it is working

Just as annoying was the ads taking over the score for about 20 seconds after a goal is kicked which is the time a lot of people would check the time and score

For me its not so much the moving graphics or the brightness in general, tough they aren't great.
It was the red. When there was a player lining up for goal and that coles ad came on, it literally hurt my eyes. I don't think I would have been able to watch the whole game if thats what I was doing.

But it's an outrage and I'm prepared to say it's the sole reason why Carlton lost on Thursday night. They were distracted and the only fair thing to do is to declare the match null and void.

The red is really distracting.

The graphics on the scoreboard are terrible. It was too hard to read the time clock.

The AFL is aiming for a WWE vibe, all bulldust all the time. Fake wrestling fans should cut out the middle man and go to the circus with the kiddies, leave the footy for Australians.

The playing surface is the REAL issue here, and there’s been barely a reference to it. That may can change when someone does a knee because the turf has shifted under them. Watching the games there reminded me of the Gary Larson cartoon; Bob’s roller skates, floor wax, ball bearings and banana peels, with all the slipping going on. How are these professional sportsmen meant to play to their optimum level when the AFL can’t even provide them with a deck befitting an elite competition?

What’s annoying is the bloody slogans they plaster all over the place. It’s like they’re taking a lead from twickenham who for about a decade have put ‘respect the kicker’ and shit up there a million times a game.

Marvel was greasier than a frying pan for bulldogs vs north, there were divots coming out of the surface when players were running normally.
