They showed a close-up of the ankle and it certainly has blown up. If it's a sprained ankle he'll still be out for a few weeks, you'd have to think.

I spose the plus-side is, if you're going to get injured in a tackle it's best for it to be an ankle rather than a knee or broken leg.

I'll maintain that if we're going to have bad luck with injuries, I'm glad it's happening now if it means we won't cop so much in the second half of the year. I mean for Stimpson J. Cat's steak we're due for some good luck surely!!

In some good news for the Roosters, young AFL-listed Crows rookie Andrew McIntyre is expected to return in three weeks after suffering a knock to his right leg early in the game. Trainers helped the 190cm defender from the ground and doctors last night cleared him of a suspected break in his lower leg.
