Medhurst - Serious Ankle injury?

Mum told me in Melbourne "they're" saying that Medhurst ankle injury is serious?

Can anyone sustainciate this... my mum likes to exaggerate alot.

Looks like he tore his ligaments, something I have done years ago and ended up being a reoccuring injury due to weakening on the ligaments... ususally put me out for 3 weeks.

Any info anyone?
