Pick 25 for medhurst would be a great result for us. Cats can release chapman and ablett to play full time in the middle, and they get a forward capable of kicking 50 in a year. We get a 31 pick upgrade on what he cost in the last "superdraft" back in 2001. Looks good to me.

Can the weagles better that offer? Would they want to? Medders is contracted for 2007, so we don't have to do anything. If he wants more opportunity, and Geelong offer pick 25, then i reckon medhurst should learn how to purr....

I was one of the biggest Medhurst supporters around, but you can't ignore the fact that our biggest run of wins happened just after he was dropped from the team. It would appear that we go better without him.

Can't understand the likes of Medhurst and Tarrant declaring where they want to go though. They are like 4 year olds who all happen to go for the recent premiership side. Harden the %$&# Up!

What will pick 25 get us? Adam Capbell, Garrick Ibbotson. These two may be good in the future. But pick 25 isn't anything to get excited about. Thats for sure.

Pick 25 in this draft should get us a good player. Gary Moss will go mid20's and he can definately play. Plus it'll free up some salary cap space. Why go after Tarrant and keep Medhurst?

I don't consider that a fair trade but that is what they would want. Rosa is probably worth a first round pick, Polak is worth an early 2nd round and Medhurst is worth a late 2nd round.
