Reportedly settled in well and fit, firing and ready to go.

Will add quite a bit to Collingwood's midfield and forward mix.

Could be quite a recruit for the pies.

I seriously reckon that medders has something to prove.Especially since last year he was languishing in the reserves and farmer was getting all the breaks and accolades at freo, medders languished. This trade thing with tarrant has landed medhurst at the highest profile club of the afl.So he's probably figgering gee if he can get himself right,he's at his prime ,loves the big games and crowds ,this is his big chance to really make a name for himself,The only thing stopping him is HIMSELF.If switched on Medders can be an extemely damaging player.Hopefully we will see all lot good games from medhurst next year.

I will always love Medders... I just said on another thread that out of all the players who have gone to other clubs, he's the one I'll miss most of all. Such a personality, such a talent... and such an excitement machine when he gets it together.

I wish him all the best, and hope he has a great career at the Pies. (As long as he never kicks a bag in a winning side against Freo...)

He doesn't travel all that well... Given the pies travel less than any other team he should fit in quite well!

I must admit, Monkey was one of my favourites as well, especially his first couple of seasons, when he played with ATTITUDE. Not sure what went wrong, but he did seem to lose a fair bit of form when every man and and his dog in the press started telling him what he should and shouldn't do.

Certainly played some blinders for us, and there's no doubt if he gets his head right, he will be a "Megastar" again. It's likely he'll sort himself out, he lives for this game and the big stage. If anyone was born to star in a grand final, it's this bloke.

Everyone's being rather nice. Screw him i say, Collingwood scum :)

Reports i've heard is that he came 2nd last in the 3km time trial at the beginning of preseason.

Do you guys remember Adrian Barich telling the masses to put money on Medhurst for the brownlow because he looked hot to trot during preseason?

I do remember that! You'd wanna hope he was being sarcastic because that call was a shocker!

Struggled on the smaller Victorian grounds, so it will be interesting to see how he goes. I too hope he does well, and his comments that I have read since his departure have all been positive when he could have quite easily fired a parting shot.

midfield? you can't be serious, leave him inside 50 or on a flank at most, because he's not a midfielder in any way shape or form

He will be fine now that GG isn't scapegoating him every day.

Confidence player and it is hard to get confidence when every man and his dog and his wifes cat is critisising continually.

He will go well at the Pies.
yes because the pies never criticise their players! LOL, if anything the scrutiny will be worse IMO.
Good luck to him though, when he's firing he can be near unstoppable.
