The narrative coming out of the game from most outlets is north missed opportunitys. Which they did at the end. But we missed some absolute gimmies aswell. Not just from set shots, but one too many hand balls with no pressure right infront of goal. We had our chances to ice the game by halftime but our errors let them back in. Works both ways

Is it just me or does the media seem to spin even our wins now to be all about the opposition? It's never about us!

Two weeks a go it was all about Collingwood and how the score didn't reflect the game.

Last week it was all about how good Fyfe was even though we won by 77 points. If I had of read the media stories and just watched the panels, I would have thought Fremantle won.

This week it was Norths turn. How good was Cunningham! Wow - their taggers good? How much have they improved?

Now I understand it must get difficult to pinpoint individual performances when we are such a consistently even performer and I know its hard to write or discuss Richmond when it was all talked about last year but come on! Every week!? Really!? Give us a break and talk about how amazing Cotchin and Caddy played or how incredible Vlaustin was.

Just seems to be a pattern that is giving me the %$#&! We are 7-1 and have over 93,000 members for Godsake! Surely we can get some positive discussion going in the media about that

It is annoying but at the same time it's allowing us to fly under the radar which is when we perform at our best.

It isn't just that. They don't rate us because of how many games we have played at the 'G so far, yet are full of praise for West Coast who, after the game this week, will have played the same.number of games at Optus Stadium as we have played at the 'G this year.

Stories about Richmond have almost always been negative in my adult lifetime (except last year, when stories about how wonderful Dusty is were thick on the ground). It must sell papers.
