Does anyone get the feeling that TW is'nt revealing his hand just yet?

possible. After the Geelong game he said we were trying things out see whos good and whos not.

Now he is saying Sydney dont usually win games in the preseason etc. I think come round 1 we will see a better and stronger side.

Wallace enjoys playing games so i would not put it past him doing so.

I think the talk of Wallace not showing his hand is wishful thinking.
We are struggling at the moment to win our own ball and our skill level is terrible.

I do think once we get our KPP back we will be better, but I cant see us making any big strides, would love to be proved wrong!

Did anyone read the article on the RFC website on how Wallace is worried about how we may have trouble with our structure with a few injuries to tall players?

I have had my concerns over the past few years about Richmonds lack in recruiting Tall players from the draft, now it looks like it is going to come back to bite us.
We should use a few early picks on quality talls rather than patch work during trading or using a later pick on a tall that is less likely to make the grade.
I know that Richmond used their first pick on Jack Reiwoldt which is a start but is not enough.
I don't want the difference between the Tigers having a good season or a bad season to be dependant on if there is one or two injuries to tall players.

PS. I was at the game yesterday, how does Tivendale still get a game?

Most teams would struggle with their top 4-5 KPP's out.

midfield not talls that needs addressing. i too get the feeling that plough is treating the preseason as a bit of practice rather than trying to win. dont think he gives a stuff other than getting some kms into the players legs.

what is the point in winning? last years good march form meant nothing in the end. I much rather he use it as a gauge of what his players can do, what they can't do, what midfield rotations work best, etc.

yep, exactly. just thinking back to the geelong game when the commentators where talking to him, he didnt give a stuff and was so relaxed. the real stuff starts in a couple of weeks. wait and see the difference then, so many teams peak way too early and look at who is in the nab gf. neither of them will make the 8 this year. both of them have been up for 3 or 4 weeks, and will be due for a loss come round 1.

I think TW has had his chance to gauge the team and next week needs to apply a proper team structure, to give the lads some confidence and poise going into round 1.

agree why field a side for the past 3 weeks. Go out and win the last game before round 1. No better way then to beat Collingwood. We should field our best line up. ur right i dont think Wallace cares to much as yet

I just hope our current form doesn't deter people from buying memberships. It seems that on these boards fans are not happy with the way things are going, because they are not looking at the big picture.
