Now you guys have to get it going in perth!

nah i didn't hear the shue chant, melbourne supporters are pathetic.

Been amazed at the amount of fans turning up at West Coast games, obviously a sign of the times really.

On the tram there were 5-6 Eagles supports, had a chat to some of them, no Demons supporters on the tram - maybe i don't live in a good enough area.

At the ground the West Coast crowd was very vocal, louder than the Demons supporters i'd say, although we did have a lot more to shout about.

Loved the chant, loved everyone singing the long and loved all the cheering for the boys as they came off the ground.

Shooo chant was going also, im the one that always starts the EEEEAAAGGLESS EEEEEEEEAGGGLES chant lol i love it

haha good stuff, that's the good one. Joined in for that chant. It always gets going towards the end :thumbsu:

Yep. We killed it today. Everytime Shuey touched it my mate and i would yell "shooooooooooooooooooo'. Good to see the EEEEAAAAGGGLLLEEESSS chant too!

I laughed when the commentators talked about the vocal, good Melbourne crowd...all I could see/hear were Eagles supporters, then at the end, they admitted the overall crowd was disappointing. Hard to tell when watching tv, but seemed like a 40/60 split?
Yes, kudos to Melb based Eagles fans :) :thumbsu:

Yep the crowd was pretty vocal for the Eagles over there. Only thing is I couldn't tell on TV whether it was a shoo chant or boo's when Shuey got the ball. Would have been a shoo chant but didn't sound great.

Definately a shooo chant, some of us got it started then others slowly got into it!

Was really wonderful to hear the chant. Towards the end of the match a few sore losers were giving us a lot of stick, but the two goals at the end ended that.

I'd say that 25% of the crowd were Eagles. People will say that a lot of them are bandwagoners, but I don't care. It's good not to be grossly outnumbered for a change.

En route to the game, the Bendigo train I was on was packed with people wearing Eagles, Swannies, Richmond and Dees colours. But we were the predominant ones.

Was there and went to the after-game function. We probably had 30-40% of the crowd, which is amazing in Melbourne.

I really worry for MFC, no-one turns up and those who do have no ****en idea. We ended up in a "discussion" with the fans around us today - one was a lovely old lady and her son who knew their footy, another was a bloke of about 50 who in front of his young kids threatened to "cave the head in" of one of my mates for vocalising his dispeasure at an umpiring decision. My mates' comeback was a cracker though "I'd expect something far more civilised from a Melbourne supporter" Everyone else just laughed...

Melbourne aren't looking good after that showing, from the fans and players. But excellent effort from our supporters.
