I find it a tad strange Jones was dropped, maybe he'll be in for a late change?

Disappointed to see Brad out, and Juice was always going to be under the pump. Sylvia and PJ out of the goalsquare I am thinking now.

On the flipside Lucas is out with Lovett in, thank god Lucas is out he destroyed us last time.

Maybe because he's been terrible this year?

Have you watched our side play?

He hasn't been terrible he's been our #1 midfielder with absolutely no help what so ever. I feel sorry for the poor kid. Surely he must be injured or somethng. For christ sakes I thought his game last week was his best for the year.

I have a theory on Jonesy being dropped. We've just got Greeny back from injury, maybe there will be a late change? That's the only reason I can think of for Jones being dropped, I thought he was good last week.

I would say that Jones needs a break - he is still quite young and does empty the tank when he plays. Although he may be getting school lessons and a metal rod inserted into his leg to make sure he kicks straight.

Good to see Maric get another game, hopefully they get the ball towards him more often, or let him get up the ground a bit more.

Green and Wheatley are much needed inclusions, and I can see why they left Juice out against the dons, hopefully Bailey gives him another chance. Miller out give Wona a chance to get back to the top of the goalkicking.

Jones out is either a tanking call letting him slowly play out the rest of the year and avoid injury, or its for him to concentrate on an area in his game, strange that they did it this week, I thought his second half against the roos was very good. Whatever the reason it lets Morton and Buckley have time on with Bruce, McDonald and Green in the side. Alot will ride on Valenti, it will be interesting to see if he can back up an outstanding game.

Presumably Sylvia gets another big go at full forward, his goal kicking is suspect but it will be interesting to watch. Garland is the other option, there is probably enough cover in the backline if he goes forward, so I'd like to see that.

Edited for accuracy.

Jones???? He had 26 disposals last week FFS playing a lone hand in the middle. Not to mention he is only 20. I feel sorry for the poor bugger.

Anyway the tank rolls on.

And somewhere on this planet Shane Valenti is crying in a corner.

:o

With Miller going out this would have been the perfect chance for Juice or try my theory of Jeff White at Full Forward.

Damn it Dean, listen to my words.

.

That sounds good!
Miller and Newton out!

Wona is 1 forward, who is the other replacing? Green is much better in the mids and wheatley is key to the backs.

You obviously haven't seen White play in the forward line. He has been tried there in the past without success. In any case White has no future and they have been playing Paul Johnson forward. Newton is not good enough.

The tank rolls on eh. With Jones in the team how many games have they won? I think he has been dropped to build his confidence in a markedly inferior competition and hopefully improve his skills and decision making.

With Miller out, it's disappointing to see Juice dropped. He deserved to be, but i thought he might've held his spot with Miller out. Now we have zero tall forwards. Bring on the tank talk

How Jones has been dropped ahead of Bartram, he's been poo for a few consecutive weeks, much worse then Jones. If it's just a break, if he doesn't play VFL this week, then i'll understand. If he does then i've got NFI

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks Jones has been ordinary recently. Doesn't matter how many times you get it if you can't hit a target. A week off to miss a meaningless game never hurt anybody. May he come back bigger and stronger.

JONES is a gun and has just taken the lead in the tambling vs jones poll with my vote:thumbsu::D also there's a demons vs bombers young kids poll on who has the better, so get ya ass's over there and vote mother F**kers:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Good idea. Jones has been out of form, it's not a must-win game, why not give him a spell in the seconds and maybe he will come back better than ever.

Good time to give Jones a rest. Has been a workhorse in a depleted midfield all year and although is probably livid with the decision to leave him out, it will be good for him in both the short and long term.

What do we get if we win?
