I don't know about being a few years away from a premiership, but you're heading in the right direction. Bailey's the right guy to take you there, and you've got bright prospects coming through (Jetta for one). You look like you're adopting Essendon's playing style, and have the toe to do it. That may well be how football is played for the next decade, so it's not a bad approach. Should be exciting for Demon fans to see close up. Enjoy the ride.

I'm not sure we're going for an all out attack style like Essendon. Yesterday was probably the most attacking we've played in terms of opening a game up even though we were losing.

But generally we're looking to recruit quick players. The game is only getting faster so there is no point rebuilding a team that ends up not quick enough.

When you finish 14th, 16th and 16th again there is only one way to go (unless they bring in GC and WS)

If you count our pick 1+2 this year we should have about 20 players under about 23 years old, and 10 players over 23 with only McDonald, Green and Bruce not having a lot of footy left who look very promising. If we can't transfrom that into a finals side in the next fews years then I'll be amazed.

Yeah mate alot of people try to bag me and put me down but im sorry it doesn't work. And I didn't abandon the Lions, only on bigfooty because I don't like most of the Lions supporters around here(lions_den) So I never gaveupon the Lions in real life but than it just didn't feel right so I chaanged back and decided toputup wiith them!

I'm sorry, maybe I missed something, but what does him going from the Lions to the Gold Coast back to the Lions have to do with the fact that the only Lions supporters I hear from on this website are always on the Bay bagging the crap out of Melbourne? He's one of the very few people who have something nice to say about other clubs.
