Just trying to work out the difference Melbourne Victory Supporter Groups after attending the game against Central Coast last Sunday.

We have the North End and South End supporters behind both goals on level 1, however I notice a group of at least 100 ppl chanting away up on level 3 behind the goals (same end as blue & white brigade).

Does anyone know who the group on level 3 are? There was a group of about 20-30 ppl about 20 metres away from them chanting away too.

All in all I think its great.

The people on level 3 are the Blue and White Brigade. They moved from level 1 because they had difficulty in maintaining the area as 'active supporters only'

The problem arises from the fact that some supporters like the idea of being 'in the action' where the BWB was (on level 1) but stayed silent and did not participate.

So the BWB decided to go on level 3 which is more 'contained'. Other groups have stayed on level 1. There is debate on the Melbourne Victory Forum to co-ordinate both levels.

Would be nice to get all bay behind the goals as "active supporters". I noticed that there were 2 full bays of ppl sitting next to the BWB that wernt active. Would be nice to get the whole section behind the goals active.

Would also be nice if they turned down the volume with the music. Would much perfer to listen to the BWB than the music prior to the game.

It would be nicer if the people standing behind the goals didn't spend 20 minutes of the game singing "sing or **** off" towards those standing who weren't singing. I mean I agree that the people in those areas should sing or find a seat elsewhere but surely these people can get behind the team a bit more.

You can understand why the BWB guys have decided to move.

I hope the traffic increases on this site now the AFl is ending cos its been slow. I miss PC28.
Can't get to the victory forum
I went to theworldgame and fourfourtwo forums but they are both crap.

Sorry I instantly hated it as an American site when they called it big 'soccer'.

Lol yeh its not too flash but it's good for a laugh some of the yanks on their have their national team's achievements confused with those of Brazil :D

Victory forum have re opened registrations.

BTW Level 1 Bourke St end is probobly dead in terms of active support, tonight was really bad for them down there.

Woeful - something needs to be done and quickly. It's a blight on the club.

Its hard to do anything, we can tell the "fully siks" to f*ck off all we want, but they're persistant, that's why we've moved to level 3, and that's why we're getting joy up there.

The club have refused, out right, to help us in supporting the boys and heightening the noise levels, by not allowing us drums, banner concessions but kicking out fans for "swearing"

I was not far from you lot, you're always great value. The drums scenario baffles me too.

Thanks mate, if you know all the chants and wanna go nuts, you're welcome to join in :D

The drum issue angers a lot of us, particularly because the club has no flares to ping us on, there hasn't been one ripped in the season proper at home, but we hope we'll get one in the new stadium, like we did at Olympic Park :D

The word on the Victory forums is that the L1 fights occurred as a result of some "St Albans gang members" who were sitting right in the middle of the area and not participating. When told to get active or move away (in a more aggressive manner), they started fighting.

Yeah a couple of lads down here have had troubles all year.

I dunno about the St Albans stuff, I'd have to ask around, but they gave up after a few minutes, people were starting fights for the sake of it.

I have good memories of that little area, but its the muzzas place now.
