I dont know about the rest of you, but Im liking the look of this Kruezer character. So we need the no.1 pick.

Would a Melbourne win be better or a Carlton win?

Personally id prefer Melbourne win, and win a couple more for the season.

This way we can still win a couple of games, finish bottom and have some hope for next year.

Im pretty confident Carlton will win at least one more so they dont get the priority.

My choice would be for the Blues to win on Sunday and the Dees to win in the last round. At least then we know it is a 2 horse race for the first pick in the draft and not a 3 way battle. If the Blues win they would be at least 3 wins up on us with 8 to go and if we are dumb enough to try and catch them then we should just give the game away.

We must hope for a Carlton win. Even those who are aiming for the spoon have got to realise they need to win one somewhere or we are toast. Better to let it be this one.

Personally I do not want the spoon and can grudgingly accept second bottom. A Carlton win makes it most likely.

But Carlton are tanking and I expect Melbourne will win it.

I don't believe the Blues are tanking because Pagan knows his job is on the line and I doubt that the players themselves will be tanking on the clubs behalf.

If they were really tanking they would not be tanking to the point of having blowouts as they have had in the last two games. They would be doing just enough to just fall under the line.

We desperately want Carlton to win another game.
Sadly I think the Dees will win this one and the Blues may not win another game for the rest of the year.
Pagan may try to win, but I have a funny feeling he may be shoved out the door sooner rather than later and the interim coach to toe the club line like a puppet.

I want Carlton to win. Not only do they lose the priority pick but they go to 20 points and we'd have to win 4 games to go above them. That would probably lock in pick 2 for us.

In contrast if Melbourne win - we'd be only 2 wins behind Melbourne, Carlton would keep the PP, and we'd only be 3 wins behind the Blues. We could end up with pick 4.

We could well pick up some wins from Kangas, Hawks, Port (MCG), Essendon and St Kilda. Not all of them but 2-3 wins. Get Carlton 4 wins away and out of the PP zone.
