Hi guys, I'm not normally one for completing surveys because I doubt their usefulness in actually getting people in high places to listen to the "little guy". But I completed the Carlton FC survey yesterday because I wanted an opportunity to voice my disappointment with the Docklands deal.

I suggest that anyone who feels the same way I do about that shithole, should use the final "comment" option to say something that strongly encourages the club to move when our contract is up.

I said: "I have always been disappointed by the club's decision to move to Docklands and I find my football experience much more enjoyable when attending games at the MCG. If the club chooses to renew their agreement with Docklands beyond 2014, then I will seriously reconsider my membership".

My theory is that since everyone who reads this has, by definition, an on-line presence, we may represent a significant portion of the survey numbers if we all fill it out. On this basis, our voice just might have an impact.

I asked them to make the "meet the rookies" pie night they had a few years ago a regular thing. That's the sort of low-key function we need more of to make up for the sterility of The Victory Room.
