Was more interested in knowing if we are close to maximum ground capacity, or if we have a yo yo effect that reflects ladder positions from the previous year.

I remember a few years ago, i was informed by the club that the country memberships were to make way for full reserved seating. We upgraded, and i am glad we did, but notice they still advertise country memberships.

I think this is the first year the figures haven't been made public.

If I remember correctly Freo and West Coast announce their membership numbers after a certain date, which I think is the 30 Apr, I can't be certain.

Obviously as West Coast are at full seated membership capacity, the only fluctuations that they have are in their other memberships like in the wings and junior memberships.

We don't do a tally like the Victorian clubs.

Or could it be 30 June?

iirc correctly the country memberships were pretty poor value and not really worth it, may as well get a full one or not bother at all.

We had a package previously, and you get 5 home games ( I think ), but you get shunted to different seats every game.

The reserved seat is the way to go.

Thanks Leeloo :thumbsu:

I am still wondering why they refuse to write "Quay Club" on my membership card any more. Petty, I know... but that is the point.

Membership numbers are really meaningless - the 3 game 'memberships' sold this season will boost or inflate the figures but actually give no indication of support. I expect the totally feral cats who sat behind us in round 1 with Freo member lanyards around their necks are likely to be back tomorrow night dressed in blue. :(

That's pretty much my point Kram - they have been bought by opposition supporters. So the Membership Numbers are not an indication of the club's support.

Also, some of us take for granted the ability to get to a football game.

For some, a game of football is their yearly trip to Bali or the French Alps.

relevant question by the op
i upgraded from country membership to full this year because it is a no brainer financially.
although with the 5 hour return trip i havnt been able to make it this year and am 50/50 for tommoro night
the only reason i keep my membership up is because i dont want to end up like an eagles supporter on a waiting list and unable to go to the footy if i want to
my situation will change when the new stadium is built
