Membership Update

Things are looking good on the membership front now we just need somewhere for everyone to sit

Geelong has smashed its membership record with 36,850 supporters signing up as 2008 members.
The previous record of 32,290 was set in 2006.
The Cats have now passed the 30,000 member mark for the fourth consecutive season, continuing a trend of growing its membership base.
The club thanks all supporters that have signed up for the 2008 season.

I saw the new temporary stand on the weekend and it doesn't look too safe. What ever happened about a new scoreboard??

I was bored during the VFL match so counted the # of seats in the temp stand, 620 i counted, although from the other side of the ground its hard to see.

I wonder where all the people will sit when the redevelopments are underway?

Frank Costa has said on radio recently, that quite a few people will be without a seat while the re-development goes on but eventually, Skilled will seat up tp 36000. This is after they build the Snr.Jnr stand of course...
