It was purchased directly from an official club auction.

Is the Monfries Guernsey just made of the authentic stuff that the real AFL players wear is was it actually worn by Monfries?

As mentioned above, it isn't a worn guernsey (by Monfries, or anyone). It's a long sleeve player issue guernsey. The only one that I am aware has ever been available.

Those are some long ass sleeves. I'd tag that Monfries top as 'player issue' rather than 'on field' since it wasn't never worn, 'on field' to me feels more player-worn. Nitpicking, I know.

Were there long sleeve guernseys made for every player or were they only at request?

I've only ever seen Pittard, Hammer, Schulz and Gus wearing them. Would love to get my hands on a Hartlett long sleeve home guernsey.

I thought they just wore compression suits underneath their guernseys not a big fan of the long-sleeves, although ours look half decent compared to some other clubs (Collingwood's long sleeves want to make me gouge my eyes out)

It doesn't help that I have 5 guernseys stuffed in a drawers that haven't been framed yet.

The stupid ef prison bar, lace up, woolen guernsey and aboriginal things made me buy 5 guernseys this year after swearing to buy none
