every year a team that looks decent drops out for various reasons. I have Melbourne dropping. We also play well against them. Like them as a double. Richmond will not be very good, neither will WC though don't tell the West.
I have been a Melbourne fan the last few years as I think Max Gawn is a great player. I agree with you, though. Who knows if we will see Clayton Oliver, Gawn and May are 32 I think. That is 3 of their best 4 players.

Something is off at the Dees, and it starts with the coach.
They could have had a couple of flags.
Won’t surprise to see a few want out.

I have Port and Collingwood dropping way down...

The good friday games are sequential aren't they, according to AFL website North Carlton starts at 420 Vic time, we start at 720 Vic time. Probably both will be national FTA on Ch7 but if not, I think we're more likely to be given we're in the evening prime time
the national Good Friday game is pretty much always the North/whoever game, the years they decide to have a second is pretty much always a Fox game

I know we have a community series game on 1st March in Adelaide, but have we announced the local scratchie against weagles that would normally be played mid feb?

Yes we have.

In a massive fortnight, the Club will celebrate their 22nd Purple Haze Game against Melbourne to once again raise funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation in round 19, before meeting cross-town rivals West Coast in a Saturday night primetime clash in front of a home Fremantle crowd in round 20.

The ever-popular nostalgia of Fremantle’s Retro Round will be in the spotlight in round 22 with an afternoon slot booked against Geelong on Saturday 10 August.

Nothing overly offensive there for us.
Another away game on a Sunday (Essendon) isn't fun, and a couple of 6 day breaks into away games (Sydney and Geelong) isn't ideal...but nothing worth storming AFL HQ over.

All three of our six day breaks (Rd 16,20,22) are against teams coming off seven day breaks. I'll do the analysis later but I wonder if this happens to any other team?

At least the Round 20 one doesn't have travel the week before (b2b home games)

How the **** we play several teams twice before we play some other teams at all. I know the fixture can’t be even because of the discrepancy between number of teams and number of rounds but this is taking the piss now

It's been like that for years

Think it changed when gc came into the comp

You get like a minimum 8 week break between teams now
