Hi All,
Bit of optimistic thinking here, but I remember vaguely someone mentioning a slogan which would be an awesome idea for when Richmond are finally a powerhouse again (it will happen......eventually).

I figured that being a Richmond supporter of 23 years (im 23 y.o, pay no notice to when i signed up to big footy as i have had many alias's e.g. Tigerbait, Stinky Wingman), i knew that once we finally become a contender, I will be pissed off knowing that all the supporters that abandoned RFC through the dark times, would once again jump on the bangwagon etc claming they were always there.

So what i was planning to do, was when that day came, I would try and set myself apart from the bangwagoners with a t-shirt. On that t-shit, it would read:

"Richmond Football Club Est.1885.............I was there when we were shit"


What do you guys think? Could be a top seller!?

Maybe we could put pre-orders in now for those who are here in the darktimes, so that when we become good, no-one will copy the design etc?

Just a bit of a fun idea. But i'd be willing to develop it further and see if we could make it happen.

I don't care how long the t-shirt would collect mothballs for, just as long as i get to wear it once!
