Meyer and JON

I know these two have been done to death, but I watched Coburg yesterday and I was SO disapointed with these two.

Both are AFL experienced players who looked way out of their depth at VFL level, and a VFL side with hardly any AFL listed players.I have been pretty patient with these two, and I know they are young but fair suck of the sav, they aint up to it, where to from here?

i like those blokes, but they are languishing and i think they need to get some serious mentoring along with a few others youngsters. if they can get irish import marty clarke up to afl standard in less than 12 months surely they can do something about those players. what have the tigers been doing?

Recall Pettifer was receiving the same brickbats as JON was in his second season.. Give the lad time, remember his first year was wipeout because of injuries.

Meyer is about to turn 21.

JoN turned 19 this year.

Danny is the far more disappointing of the two, Danny should be starting to cement a place in the senior side that that age. Instead he is going backwards.

JoN is still far to young to write him off and shows much more promise then Danny. GIVE JoN A BREAK!

other clubs got 1st years playing reasonable quality in the afl, tigers cant afford to hold on to players too long. if there is any decent players they should pick them up instead.

Meyer also has the carrott of Krak being dead man walking. He only needs to play half-decent football to get a game. Still he can't be bothered.

JON has a tougher task. Bowden, Newman, Raines, King, Polak is looking OK. Thursfield, McGuane and Moore are fighting for one spot. JON has to make himself a midfielder to get a game and is suffering a little playing away from his comfort zone at HBF.

Meyer far more dissapointing.

Meyer is a rat who has no idea about hard work, should be cut out like the proverbial cancer.

As for JON, while he hasnt shown much remember 2 things.
1. He has not yet done a preseason with Richmond due to injury
2. Apperntly he has a great attitude.

Conclusion, while it may seem that we wasted a pick, remember that he has great pace for his height and he is certainly worth persisting with
