It's hard to tell ATM, it would take alot of balls to trade them out now.

Although maybe Rich with his B/E of 70 is an alright option to downgrade to a player like Hartlett who will average even better. Walker is still going to rise for a week or two though.
 
I just worked it out, its 60. They are playing Essendon, so hes a good chance to get it, but he wont be moving up that much more.
 
I think people are trading out Rich too quickly. His breakeven may be a little high but it's because he got 50 last week against Geelong who smashed Brisbne by nearly 100 points. What did you expect from a side that got absolutely dominated? I'm sure that Rich will continue rising and make you very Rich.

Well if he gets about 70, which is possible, his B/E the next week will only be around 50.
Worth waiting 2 weeks. Unless you want Hartlett, get him now if you want him.
 
As long as S.Burgoyne is out, and others being injured, Hartlett will play

The way P.A are playing, H.H is in their best 22

Im downgrading Robinson to HH, ill have 100k in the bank for later, and HH will start on my field in place of Beams

Also watch for De Boer, gun and is a ball magnet, will score well...

If he plays he will be my downgrade for Dangerfield in a week or two.
Hopefully he does as Dangerfield has a fairly high B/E.

Ill be trading Hill out for DeBoer in a few weeks time. I can see Deboer playing a lot for the Dockers this year. Will be a good end of year midfield bench player.

So you think he is worth holding onto, on the off chance that another bench forward comes around and plays two decent games. He now has that 32 for two weeks, every week you keep him you are ~20 points worse off as you cant upgrade yet.

So for me making 20-30K or 60-80 points, I know which one I will choose. If I do the trade I will have enough money to upgrade Hill to Hodge/Mackie next week.

Hill av 50. hodge/makie bout 85. Meaning its actually 35 points a week for me.

My opinion is that Hodge and Mackie will make that 30K that you think we should wait for Walker to make.

On topic, I think I might go T.Tuck down to Hartlett, allowing me to trade Skipworth to a Pav/Franklin. Only downside is it leaves me with 5 midfield rookies, 3 of which I have to start (Otten, Beams, Zaharakis, Robinson, Hartlett)
 
If i didn't have 230,000 sitting in the bank i'd probably do either walker -> waren or rich -> hartlett. But i really need to do some trades this week due to injuries.

I still think Rich has potential to go up. FFGenie says his BE is 62. In his last last 2 games he scored: 64, 50. His first few games may have been lucky but i'm gonna wait and see if he can score them again.

problem is, for many people rich is starting in their 22. Personally, the only real quality mid rookie playing atm is hartlett.
Id feel pretty confident playing hartlett in my midfield for the next 7 ish weeks compared to if i selected barham or someone. This week is the week to get on hartlett before his price rises..

I think I'll go Hartlett, for me he is worth the extra dollars. My team was decimated (Harvey, Hille, Dalziell, not to mention Richo) and I will trade Dalziell out to Hartlett. Not ideal for the midfield in the short term, but it seems the best option considering my overall problems and lack of cash.

If Freo want to be going anywhere, I would hope by the end of the season we have put plenty of games into Broughton, DeBoer, Clarke and Pearce. Pearce could get promoted from the rookie list for Palmer.

Of course only DeBoer of those is relevant to this thread. He is a ball magnet, but I don't know how that will translate to seniors. We might give him a more defensive/tagging kind of role, but he still looks a good option in a few weeks.

I went Hartlett, but did it last week.

Mainly because i think he'll still be in my 30 come round 22.

I want to have a good back up in case of injury and no trades - and think he looks the most likely type - especially because he loves an uncontested mark.

Rich has no way peaked. Had a bad game against a dominant Geelong in the wet. He had 40 odd to half time anyway, just faded as most rooks do.

Expect a solid score from him this week. If, like myself, you are reliant on rookie scores in the mids, Rich is a must until he is upgraded.

True, but I dont think he has much more to go. Might get to 300k, more likely to peak around 280k. Regardless, I need cash this week to facilitate some trades over the next few rounds (Ellis, Dalziell, Skippy). Hartlett is a much more attractive option than Warren, and those are my only two real options.

Injuries can sometimes force your hand on trading early.
 
Don't limit it to Barham/Hartlett. There will be other options popping up soon if you have the patience.

DeBoer, Swift, Cockie all likely to debut sometime in the next month. All real prospects.
