maybe if your team performed when it counted, more of your players would get national attention- winning the Mickey Mouse Cup does not rate high on selectors' charts....
By the way, if you're slamming Mike, he DID average ONLY 91 in the Ashes..... and in the one dayers, an average of 38- after his blistering form in 2006, he was due for a bit of a comedown on the one day stage....
I think Hussey was also due a change of luck, while he's been great he's also been fortunate at times. The way he plays there'll be times when the fielders catch them etc. He comes in and hits late. Last year he got away with everything. Recently things haven't worked out quite as well. That's cricket. Most cricketers also have a bit of the second year blues as the grapevine works on their weaknesses though in his case he's not getting much air time. But in his first year the umps gave him a pretty fair run and even in the Ashes, the fieldsmen let him off at crucial times.
