Nah, we have to change it up because it's a different stand type now.

We've done the Southern Stand, now it's onto the Northern, which has a different (and inconsistent) design to it.

I know where - I took pictures on Sunday afternoon too, so I'll take care of that. I'm pretty sure the first and second tiers are the same as the other side of the ground with the top being just a bit bigger.

So update 1.8 went up yesterday.

And unfortunately, it's caused all sorts of issues with our server.

First things first, with a new update it means that the server.jar file on the server has to be updated. I've managed to get a file that seems to work, but it's not really very consistent and seems to stop every so often.

So I do have the world up and running, but if it blocks you from getting in, it's due to this issue.

Also, on top of that all the mods won't work now until they're updated for the 1.8 update themselves. And the mods being put onto the server site could take longer too. So no unlimited resources.

ALSO, no flymod.

ALSO, we're in a deplorable biome (the newest one) that makes the grass blue...

I see you mentioned using Skype, a mate of mine and I use Ventrillo when we play Minecraft. There's a site that you can get a free ventrillo server for a few hours and it works really well.

How long's left in the months? IMO, I say we don't get another month until after the AFL's done. That way there's a lot more free time to focus on this (well, for me anyways).

We have 3 days left. I can easily save everything for another time when shit is worked out, as this will 100% delay things and there's absolutely no ETA on when everything will be right to mod again. It likely won't be long, but could definitely take a few days.

If it's chosen to go down this path, I will download the world as is and upload it for everyone to use and either admire or finish.

The new creation mode in 1.8 could significantly increase progress.

Tried to fix my fly mod other night because it randomly stopped working now Minecraft just goes black on start up . This was before 1.8 was out, now it's out it won't work I guess until the mod and server is updated properly anyways.

Agree, would definitely like to finish it off properly not leave it.

Unfortunately not. I've applied the save to my own system and it just comes up as a survival mode.

Doesn't seem you can change the type of mode once the save is up. Same thing obviously goes for this 1.8 update being that it doesn't retro-fit to your previous saves in terms of some of the big new features.

Just on the update though, the lighting is absolutely phenomenal. Looks awesome at night, just far more subtle and natural. Haven't really had much of a go to really notice anything else. Although there's a ton more animals roaming the land it would seem. And the new chasms' are pretty sweet.

I'll definitely put the save file up in a few days for everyone to apply and do with what they will though.
