Went on today to check out 1.8, and it is pretty impressive. Creative mode just let's your mind run free with no limits or worries on what you can achieve.

Also I'm currently working on a replica of Ethiad Stadium. It will take all my time and patience but I'll post it when I'm done.

Ok here you go guys, since it's the last day of the server's month and it doesn't look like we're able to get any more done (no updates to mods...). I have uploaded the MCG World for everyone to download and do whatever the firk they want to with it.

Whether that be continue on with the project or destroy it in a blaze of TNT destroyation, it is completely up to YOU!

Simply download, unzip/extract the folder and put the folder in your 'Saves' file in your .minecraft folder. Simple as that.

With creation mode it should be much better. I might even get off my ass and help. Just couldn't be stuffed downloading mods.

Yep, I'll purchase another month again when we can all give as much time as possible.

Their services have changed, from 10 slots for $20, down to 6. But that shouldn't be much of an issue, I don't think we had more than 6 or so at once ever anyway.

Also have to obviously await the updating of all the mods and such.

A server can't be started until all the mods are updated and on the AusFrag server base to be applied to it.

Never worked for me in the regular world let alone the d/led one.

New minecraft is terrific. So easy to use, would love to be able to change the game mode for the MCG world. Would finish it easy.

Haven't, but will try it out later too (or not based on your feedback). Just found it after wondering if anyone would've created a mod for switching to creative mode and thought I'd post.

Works fine mate, very easy. Just download the file go to your minecraft folder than drag the downloaded file into the bin folder.

Click on minecraft, change the name of the world so you can remember it. Exit minecraft than go into your bin folder, click on the downloaded file and selct the world. Tick creative mode, save changes and your all sweet.

Yeah is much better with the creative mode. Seriously need a mod to increase the reach though. Much better on 100 or so.

That's great news about that mod, should be useful on my main world.

Also just found my first NPC Village. They haven't actually put in any NPCs yet, but hopefully Notch can do that.

That's the plan.

I believe that they'll also give you quests.

My biggest question is going to be whether or not all of these saves become useless when the full game is released in a couple of months.

I really don't want to put so much time into my world again and again just to have to do it all over...again!

Nah they don't, make a nether portal, (you will have to rebuild again) when in the Nether turn it on peaceful or whatever, 1 step in the nether = 8 steps in the outside world. Walk for a long distance or dig for a long distance, make a new nether portal. Don't go through that until 1.9 and bingo, new chunks, 1.9 works. As I said you will have to restart building unless you do as I plan to and world edit everything into a new world. Also, I could put my mods and bin file into a zip and give it to you's, I have fly mod, and too many items?
