What are people's thoughts on Wellingham? Out of contract and obviously out of favour. I think he's worth keeping as depth (certainly behind Duggan, Nelson and Cole in the HBF pecking order) for another year unless someone makes a solid offer for him. At his best, he actually does provide a bit of mongrel but **** he's turned into a pretty average player. Can't remember the last time he really took on the game.

Keep but on a reduced contract - be interested to see him played elsewhere on the ground once he regains form

Wont forget the granny where he singlehandedly tried again and again to spark the team

We simply can't get rid of everyone and Wellingham at his best, offers us a lot. The way he has been playing has been terrible though. But even so, at his worst he is still solid, seasoned depth who does have some pace and can play multiple positions. Worth keeping on reduced $ unless we are offered something good for him.

Wellingham moved into the centre sparked East Perth from a 15 point deficit to an 84 point flogging of West Perth. Bewildering game that one still cant fathom it

Wouldn't mind seeing Wellingham played in a forward pocket or hff. He's got pace and competitiveness, whilst having an alright kick when he's playing well. Give him a go in Cripps' "defensive forward" position, honestly couldn't do much worse and might pop up for a couple of goals. Noticed he likes taking his shots at training.

I assume the minimum retirements and delistings will be:

Mitchell
Priddis
Butler
Tunbridge (r)
McInnes (r)
Brophy (r)

Then there's a few we can cut and I don't think we'll even notice:

Lamb
Giles
Rotham
Snadden (r)
Gorter (r)

Then a few established players who seem to be on the outer:

Masten
Wellingham
Hill

There's no way we'll cut all of them (and I could be wrong on some of those rookies, I don't watch much WAFL. It took Gov years to adjust to the rigours of AFL footy and he's now my favourite player), but it's going to be interesting how we go about it. There's a few others like LeCras, Mackenzie, Schofield, Cripps ... But they seem to be considered best 22 so I haven't included them here. They could be trade bait though. Maybe.

Unless we go completely out of character and trade a Gaff or a Darling or a Lycett, I'm not sure how they're going to rebuild quickly. Or even if we have to. Get the guy in that got into Lynchy's head and taught him how to mark, and we should be good to go. Get them all to wear a glove and make them look at it while chanting "it's not over until the fat Chicky sings" whenever we have a 4 goal lead. Problem solved.
Wtf rotham ? the kid has so much upside he is just skinny as a rake .

Cut. If we are going to rebuild, do it root and branch now.

RED definitely to go by end of 2018. Black in 2018 yet to be decided. But whom should be considered, the higher in the list the more likely i think they should go.

LeCras or Hill could be swapped.
