He is the perfect 'sub'. Fierce tackles in the fwd line, nice kicks up to leading forwards.

Surprised Foley came off and not Ellis. But Ellis goal was good.

Was great after he kicked it he was already pumping his fist and ran and jumped on Deledio which you can see on the replay. Jack then went and gave him a big pat on the back. He has a lot of potential to be a damaging midfielder as icing on the cake in a good side.

Thats what i reckon, is making alot from limited chances

Smart footballer. Almost a "professional sub". I would look at giving King the red jacket next week. Kingy looks to be in the umpire's sight as he "gives away" too many frees and Maric needs a full game to see where he is at. Maybe even give Ellis a rest.

Maric should be considered for a full game.

You are right ..... the treatment of Kingy by the umpires has bee nothing short of disgraceful.

When I saw Goddard get that ball and only Mini Maric in the way, I thought to myself there was going to be a Saints goal for sure, Maric was never a good tackler but what he did was a superhuman effort, and then the follow up, amazing stuff

He's Croatian..

Its pronounced Marrik because his family choose to pronounce it that way.

Probably Australianised Croatians that have been here for ages.
