He is average, not overly proficient in any one area and hasn't been able to lock down a position at all. Considering we'd have to pay considerable overs for him and he wouldn't even be in our best 22, I don't really think there is much incentive.
Anthony's better than Mitch Brown at both ends of the ground and can't get a regular gig with us.

Pretty sure Mick made mention the other week of how he doesn't like drafting brothers to the same team for the most part, he said it creates a situation where you might have one brother struggling and getting dropped to the twos and that in-turn adversely affects the other brother as well.
Said it just creates an awkward management issue. He may have even made reference to the Brown boys at the time, I can't remember it too well.

I remember reading somewhere that we rated Mitch as highly as Nathan when drafted him. He had a solid debut year but since then hasn't lived up to expectations.

I for one am hoping he blossoms next year and stays on at WC

I don't rate Nathan.

He was playing good football in the backline in 09 (when Nathan was injured).

Was sent forward in 2010 and didn't do well. Was dumped in the WAFL to work on his forward game, was then brought back in to play defence, only to get injured.

Did his ACL in 2008.

He's a very much a required player at Westcoast. Will thrive when we can dump Woosha.

Funny you say that. Seeing the brown twins embrace reminded me of seeing the wakelins do the same on the day port won it. Shane was so happy for his bro that day, you could see he just wanted to jump the fence...I honestly thought he would get one himself..

As for Mitch.. the days of sentimentality at the pointy end of our organisation are over. If by coincidence he is an appropriate fit then so be it. Otherwise, they can catch up at family dinners during summer.

LoL you NEED TO BE BANNED! Cloke > Mitch ... One of the best contested marks in the game and needs to work on his kicking, but he can still deliver to Dawes from CHF
