Mitch Clark was recalled for one game this year post injury and hasn't been sighted since. You'd expect more than one opportunity to prove yourself surely, he wasn't afforded that. Has Scott lost faith in him and is he done? Surely a fit and in form Clarke would add an extra dimension to Geelong? Why hasn't he been afforded that chance?

Interested to hear thoughts on him. I was disappointed he left Melbourne, but he clearly hasn't come on from his mental and physical health issues. Good luck to him.

Had some time off after his twin babies were born almost two months early. Between fitness, form, injury and personal issues, he hasn't been able to get a lot of momentum in terms of getting back into the best 22.

Slagging off your team mate's partner and playing shit in the VFL doesn't exactly scream "recall".
Not quite right
Slagging off an opponents partner, who happens to be the sister of a teammate, and playing shit in the VFL doesn't exactly scream "recall"

Thoughts on him with regards to getting back in?

Really? I thought it was the other way around!
Slagging off his sister who happens to be the teammate of his opponents partner?

He should get one more year, the potential is always there and maybe his new twins will keep him in a good place. Unlike some, I have respect for Mitch Clark, depression is a campaigner.

Yes, it should never be forgotten how serious his mental health issues were at Melbourne, his doctor was very concerned for his well being playing footy at the highest level, until of course Geelong ponied up the green, after that he seemed to make a miraculous recovery.

Good for him

He might have been in a better place back home?
His body, injury wise, let him down his entire career. Not sure anything could have changed that.

Playing for Melbourne in that era would have made anyone depressed.
