Loved his game. If he can only stop the 1 or 2 brain implosion, he will be brilliant!!

I think it's something you'll have too accept is part of his game. IMO it's not his decision making, it's his kicking action. His ball drop to foot is not fantastic, and he quite often gets the inside of his boot and sprays it.

I think he's had a great season, and I thought his run and carry was brilliant on Saturday night. He's super quick, and to me he's just finding a bit more confidence to run through traffic.

I wouldn't go as far as Great Season.

Terrible start but has gone better as the season gone on.

Glad his contract is up in one more season. Feels like he is at a crucial point - 27 years old, with a couple of wonderful seasons and a couple of awful ones. It's really up to him what he does with his career next year and beyond.

Thought he had All Australian potential in a similar way to how Worrell has developed, but I simply don’t trust Hinge anymore.

Generally has poor disposal, and an awful habit of marking in the back left pocket from a kick-in, then standing still while looking inside for 6 seconds until the umpire calls play on, so he then kicks long down the line without even looking at what he’s aiming for - surprise, leads to a turnover.

Needs to try for a spot on the wing as Curtin becomes a full-time mid, and if he can’t cut it there, see ya.

Meh, another one who has gotten far too comfortable.

Needs a long stint in the SANFL while we give Oscar Ryan a block of games.
I reckon his spot is up for grabs next year.
Had a bad last half to the season
I think Oscar should really be pushing for a spot next year, I could also see Cumming moving back there to try and give us some better rebound

I reckon he has struggled to know what his spot is since Worrell became our chief interceptor across half back. Will be interesting to see what they do with him, I wouldn't be opposed to a move to the wing, with Curtin possibly moving to the mids, or Cumming going back to half back where he should be.

If he stays across HB, we're going to need more from him. There's a big gap between his best and worst, he needs to narrow that gap.

He's going to be AA level until Rd 12, get 3yrs and then be ROB for the rest of the season.

This
When he nails his kicking, my word he can be damaging. Right up there with the best out there.

Biggest issue is that does not happen nearly enough and his turnovers can be equally diabolical.

Wing makes a lot of sense.

Hinge: makes his best less good 'I'm more consistent!'

We also seemed to prefer Milera as the main distributor off half back in the 2nd half of the season.

I really like Hinge, I just don't get why he can't bring his A-game more consistently.

Worrell and Keane both more running defenders than normal for guys of their size.

Neither Milera or Hinge have consistently got enough of the footy this season, generally crap meters gained stats etc; is it a symptom of our gameplan as well?
