In what order do you rate these guys?

Now this was prompted by the Tippett trade talk, but is not directly related so I thought I'd start a new thread.

Just had a look at the Adelaide board and basically there attitude seems (to me) to be;
pick 22 and
Mitchell would do it in a shot
Rohan would do it reluctantly if no other option
Parker not enough

Got me thinking how do Swans supporters rate these players?

Now bear in mind this is a hypothetical, so salaries, who we are trading them out for etc does not apply.

Which player would you most want to retain?

For me I rate Parker most highly.
19 yo, hard as nails and pretty much an established member of the team
Second; Mitchell terrific prospect, but has now struggled to stay on the field consistently for the best part of 3 years
Third; Rohan looked to be on his way, but the leg break was so horrendous that there have to be doubts that he will ever get back to his best (think Jamie Lawson, N. Brown, Morris).

1 Parker
2 Mitchell
3 Rohan

You? :)

We will retain all 3.

Parker and Rohan on par.

Have not seen enough of Mitchell to rank against the other two.

I think rohan is more an x factor player who will play forward with the odd spurt on the ball, he wont be a big posession winner though, i also hope he has not lost speed, i think parker as an inside player has more long term impact already as its almost easier for him in the role, he could be a real accumulator.

I guess i cannot split them so far just excited by both, parker seems a bargin.

All i have seen from mitchell is carnival footage, but as silly as it sounds just love the father son notion.

I will go

Parker
Rohan

Mitchell yet to see cannot judge

Rohan
Parker
Mitchell

I put Rohan first, because i remember in 2011 and pre-2012 we were hoping how he would develop into a pretty diverse player that can play in a variety of positions with a lot of x-factor. It may take a bit longer with the leg break, but he'll be a great player. Mitchell is unknown quantity, i haven't seen him play yet.

Watching highlights of Mitchell the similarities to Parker seem immense. Both tough as nails in and under players who prefer to handball.

Gotta go with my gut;

1. Rohan (will be like Jetta with better defensive pressure)
2. Parker (next Jude Bolton with ROK's body type)
3. Mitchell (haven't seen enough of him)

We are trading any of those 3 over my dead body. I would rather not get Kurt Tippett if it means trading one of those guys away.
I wasn't actually asking in the context of the Tippett trade (I don't want him here full stop), but just seeking a comparison between the external ratings of the 3 guys and how we view them.

We have just won the premiership and are new crop coming through will take us too another premiership.

Mitchell: 19
Parker: 19
Lamb: 19
Johnson: 20
Reid: 20
Rohan: 21
Hannebery: 21
Jetta: 23
Smith: 24
Kennedy: 24
Jack: 25

Very, very good core.

1. Rohan - blistering pace, that goal on the run against the cats Wow, Not many can do that. Best yet to come, reminds me a bit of j goddard but Rohan's a bit more Flashier.. Next Superstar..
2. Parker- tough nut but smart, very likely to be the next solo man in those T.V. Ads.
3. Mitchell 3rd, only cause I haven't seen him play with the big boys yet.

and 9 of those players are proven AFL players and as far as i am concerned Mitchell is going to be a future A grade midfielder if he can get his injuries right.

I honestly believe that the combination of Kennedy and Mitchell are going to be hell for opposition teams for the next 8 years as opposition clubs argue about who they should tag and who they are going to let run free.

I have strong doubts as to whether Rohan can really make it back after that leg break. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to be sitting here in a couple years thinking what could have been if it didn't happen.

Everything I've read about him since then makes it sound like they're re-developing him into a full time medium sized forward. I don't think he's coming back as a quick winger like Jetta.

based on past:
1. Parker
2. Rohan
3. Mitchell

In 2013-2015:
1. Parker
2. Mitchell
3. Rohan

In 2016 onwards...
1. Mitchell
2. Parker
3. Rohan

i've heard alot of good things about Tom Mitchell and he sounds like he could be the next Gary Ablett, Sam Mitchell, Dayne Beams type player. I really rate Rohan but after his broken leg I don't think he's going to come back to the player he once was and could be had he not had that injury (i could be very wrong), but he's still going to be a good player. Parker on the other hand I think will have a chance at the Brownlow in the next few years, just his hardness at the ball and will be a very valuable player in 2014 onwards when Jude Bolton retires as he possesses a few traits the same as Jude.
