I think I said before, but I swear I didn't even know she could cook.
I've been to her mums house heaps and I don't recall her doing any cooking at all.

haha, sadly no.
I felt very bad for her but I didn't think she would do that well.
I'm no Gordon Ramsay, but even watching her cook early on I was just thinking she wasn't going to do too well.

I think it's clear from this and previous seasons that cooking skills aren't high on the list of priorities when selecting contestants

The two girls were decent looking and had nice bubbly personalities so they're in.

They also need/want some couples to crash and burn because it serves their purpose of creating drama

That doesn't surprise me. I find the Asian team pretty unlikeable too - I find it hard to warm to anyone whose claim to fame is being a social media star (unless it's bigfooty of course).

It's a shame the producers seem to go in with a preordained idea of which teams will be presented as which 'characters' instead of letting things unfold a bit more organically. With some different editing I could imagine the Asian couple coming across as more believable 'bad guys' than Tyson and his sister.

I'm not that intelligent (I just spelled the word incorrectly whilst typing this), but I always know its such a phony show in regards to the drama.
But this season is just horrible. They pump the flirt etc stuff way too much to the point you know its fake, and the whole Tyson being mad/mean is just so fake as well.
Still gonna watch.

People sometimes don't think normally under pressure, and make basic errors they would otherwise never do. Think of the forward who can kick the goal 99% from any angle/distance in practice, but can never seem to kick it during the actual game. That's what pressure does to some people.
