This show is something of a guilty pleasure for me but the producers need to step back from making the contestants complete caricatures and show a broader range of their personalities

I kinda like that Tyson character, very relatable. However, I hate when people are over critical of food. Even if food isn't outstanding, surely it's not THAT bad.

Most annoying are those asian friends. I wonder how crowded an asian friend zone is.

Tyson was critical of expectation. His criticism wasn't on the food but on his expectation of what the food should be and then taste like. He was right, meat and 3 veg needs to be really special. Cheesecake needs to be divine.

The complete irrationality of contestants on these shows gives me the shits. Maybe it's due to editing but how can Steve Smith can every single dish completely and still give them 6 out of 10 - WTF kind of rating distribution is he using?

There's nothing I've seen about being a chef that would make it a dream job - shit hours, low pay unless you're really really good, working in a hot kitchen, plenty of injury risks with sharp knives, hot pans, naked gas flames etc

Also chefs are notorious hotheads so whilst you're working your way up most likely your boss will be an arseh*le
