Ok, I'm aware this is very premature. But having had a look at the interview on Nick's page with Monkhorst, his eldest son (at the time of the interview) was 14 years old and 6"3' with a size 15 shoe. That's Ben Reid's height, basically.

Does anyone have any information on Monkey Jnr., namely whether he can play football? Like I said, I know it's very premature, but the kid's probably 15 now, which doesn't put him much behind... say... Scott Reid in terms of the way recruiters may be looking at him.

in 18 my son will be eligible for the draft.. he will be trained by me in alspects of the modern game and will have a backgorund in body building.... he will be 6'4... weigh 92 kilos-6% body fat.. run 100m in 10 flat... have a 10 mtr vertical leap too... actually he will be a pair of twins... so they...
and ill make sure that c/woods recruiting officer is the only one that has any good info on them.....

Move to melbourne, adelaide or perth so that until the age of 15 they get the best in in game and junior training, then move to ACT/NSW so that they can be picked up under the scholarship thing

By then he'll be over 200 cm.

Nope, Ben Reid is 196cm, which is over 6'5".

6'3" is a touch over 190cm.

Yep I thought there was 3 and certainly looking for father/son in action there. I remember Monkey being interviewed on TV ages back and his boys were in the background wrestling like little giants. My first thoughts were... "I can't wait till they play for Collingwood"

Apart from the eldest dominating in junior levels because of his height can anyone shed any light on his actual footy ability? eg good kick? Good mark? tackles? natural ruck? etc etc

Ah well, it's mighty tall for a 14-yr-old.

Oh, and he has four sons, they were (at the time of the interview) 14, 10, 9 and 2, IIRC.
