Anybody else see this against the Bombers on Sunday?

Thought it warranted a week for sure.

Don't really rate Mooney THAT highly, but I was getting my hopes up that minus him and Harley we could keep the margin respectable. ie under 12 goals.

i saw mooney's one probably couldn't get a week for it , he was gonna hit him hard but pulled out in the last minute.

there was also bret thornton on matt rosa exactly the same as daniel kerr's one and he got nothing for it.

Might not be enough. Seriously, I don't rate Mooney. He's important to geelong's structure but on his own he is hit and miss.

If Mooney had connected he would've ended up with a couple of weeks. Has the same cranial flatulence problem as Kerr.

well said!! So bloody frustrating, and straight after he gets back. I think it's harsh for you blokes that Kerr is out, he is a gun. All the best for the game anyway.

he is pretty intimidating.

like him or not, he gets the job done at FF.

easily ahead of hawkins & lonergan.

Would have been a huge plus for you guys. Glass probably would have played on Hawkins and with Chapman still being out the Cats forward line would have been lost. Claim what you want about Mooney, but the truth is that he straightens out the forward line and presents a good marking target (he is just a horrible kick at goal.)

Mooney 2007/08 = Lynch 2006

Well maybe Mooney was slightly better but not as much as an AA spot would suggest.

No, sorry KS, Mooney can mark in a pack, the other struggles with a chest mark.

I went to see the Eagles play the Cats at Skilled Stadium a couple of years ago. At one point, while play was down the other end of the field, Mooney turned around and headbutted his opponent in the face. I forget who his opponent was, but he did make contact, as the Eagles player was holding his head for about a minute afterwards. Of course, the incident didn't get reported, probably because it was so far off the action. It shows what kind of player he is though.
