Who's pumped for his return
Post vids of his excellence in this thread to remind every1 just how good he really is!
Also a bit of a distraction from the grandy!

Salvating for him Pearce and hill on the wings or hill running the ball out of the back passing to mora and Pearce

Think THE MOST POSITIVE SIGN is this video. Still had it last year so we know if he heals his injuries havent messed him up. As long as he gets a little lucky and gets no more injuries he'lll be a gun and i rekon on the inside rather than wings, Mundy Replacement? Instead of gliding thhrough congestio though just fending it off or running away

IMO whether Morabito makes it back will be one of the biggest bearings on our mid-term future.

Fully fit Morabito will offset the loss of PAV/MACCA/Sandi by giving us an injection of scoring power, plus the benefit of more flexibility with our structures given how versatile he is.

Big times coming up, how we manage the transition in the next few years will decide if we're a top 4 team for years to come or just another also-ran. Free agency is another factor in this.

first thing is winning pav, sandi and mcpharlin a premiership. Then we gotta focus on what happens when they leave. Silvagni good down back but not Mcpharlin good - covers it well enough though.
No KPF to cover PAV, and until Finals when Sandi started playing his best footy Griff was better so not much a problem there. Need KPF and KPB

We can do both.

It's hard to say what will happen when the 'big 3' retire.

I don't doubt that we'll still remain competitive, but as we are going to see, and have seen, when it comes to winning premierships you have to beat Hawthorn , Geelong level talent teams, you need stars for that, average players no matter how committed can't do it.

IMO if we can't unearth a star full-back and a serviceable CHF who can bring the fall to ground we'll drop from a top 4 quality team to a bottom top 8 team , much like Sydney post-2006. Even the loss of Sandi may be a big blow (think of the impact and importance he was to our Geelong win). Hawthorn's defense struggle to contain gorilla forwards until Lake arrived.

Anyway, let's just focus on this week. I'm sure things will work out for us.

Think they'll be a big loss but we'll still be competitive for sure i rekon top 8 around 6/7. Think your forgetting Fyfe will be a gun by then but there is still some big losses. Would assume by the time all 3 are gone we will have got ourselves either KPD or KPF to use.
Mcpharlin little influence in Geelong or against Sydney though shows that we can be competitive without them, we just need pretty good replacements.

theres a bit too much expectation on the fella i think, just hope he gets another crack, has to learn how to kick straight if i remember right (been a while :( )

You're probably right about expectations being too high. The good thing is now when he comes back he will surrounded by hard working talent. We don't need him to play out of his skin every week. He can just build into it.
