What about if his first game is against the Bulldogs next week? Will you come up for that?

I'll be tempted to make a massive Mora banner but don't want to jinx his return.
How about something generic that Could apply to the whole team:

I'D LIKE TO SEE MORA THAT!

Am genuinely going to shed a tear for the young fella when he gets back out there. Shit he deserves some luck.

Needs quoting again. Going to be an emotional time when he comes off the bench that first game.

Then we can discuss him being disinterested when he bends over and heading for delisting :D

If he plays against the doggies, I'll be at the game an hour early to get my spot behind the bench. Every move he makes will get a standing ovation, be it a stretch or run through.
When he runs out on the field, you'll see me as the bloke carrying on like a pork chop, screaming like a wild banchee. Might even make me a sign. I'll take heaps of pics of everything he does and post them on here, just to get everyone more excited ( if that's possible).

That people is dedication.

There will be a tear in my eye, and a great happiness in my pants heart when I see Mora run out on to the field. It will be like Micky B all over again for me. Damn near broke down when Micky B kicked that goal against Geelong.

Some interesting words from Lyon in today's West:
"He is an exciting athlete on our list, a 190cm, 97kg beast. I think ultimately he will be more of a key position player".

Had to laugh at one of the later questions though. If Ross kept a straight face then he is truly unflappable.

"_You said you want to create two more goals per game this year. Is that on average?"

Bahahahahahahaha!

RTB: Nah ******o it was a reference to "Perth games" with a typo.

I imagine he called him "quite brilliant". Was his name Shane? :D (The journo who copped a spray from Ross at The Cattery)

It was Mark Duffield. Quite suprising from a bloke who is clearly the best Journo at The West (Although that's not saying much is it!)

On another note, does anyone else have an issue with Ross' repeated use of the word "rehabbing"? Can't we just speak English?

If the english language is sacrosanct to you, you probably should retire from watching football :D

Although it should be said that languages have never and never will cease evolving.

"Amongst other things RTB is an impeccable grammarian as can be seen by his immaculate use of the gerund or present participle of the common as muck verb 'to rehabilitate' when he referred to Morabito who is currently rehabbing." Concise Oxford Dictionary Editorial press release 22/2/2014.:thumbsu::)

Just plain nervous for the kid. Been following him since I saw his NAB game in Melbourne against the Roos and took on the Roos backline as an 18 yo, prompted me to post online for the first time on how good and tough this kid was and named my avatar after him (was a different site) but carried it onto BF. Gees i hope the kid goes well.

P.s My first thought on Lyon and him having Mora as a KP forward is that they are not confident enough for him to go into the midfield and test that knee under heavy stress ( twist and turn tackles). 190cm is a standard mid these days so though it an odd statement.

I think it's more that we have a glut of midfielders. The knee is going to be tested no matter where he plays.

Morabito could end up playing anywhere except the Ruck in the future. He might even replace Johnno or McPharlin.

Could be the new Pavlich.

According to that august repository and arbiter of the English language, the Oxford English Dictionary, "rehabbing" has been English since 1961.

You and I may be pedantic to a dotty degree, but at least I know that Ross is never wrong.

i rekon if his knees are good hell be bak better than ever.
The anger and aggression hell proide on the field as well as the commitment weve seen through this process will creat a force to be reckoned with.
