Saw Morra out on sat night after our great win. Tried to wish him all the best with his come back, and he was a really friendly bloke. His mates on the other hand told me to F#*Ck off and let him have a quiet night, they were so off their **** they couldnt keep their tongues in their mouth. Absolute peanuts.

Well it looks like you had the last laugh complaining about them on the internet...

I saw the incident on the news last night, seriously, how could anyone think he was gonna get pinged for that? The guy that copped the contact sprung straight back up demanding the footy like it was nothing. No theatrics, no complaining. No chance of a suspension. But then this is a captain hindsight opinion, I guess.

That umpy who seems to be saddled with the small man syndrome and looks like a member of the Hitler youth has a real problem with anything to do with Peel Freo players should never be allowed near a Peel game again

Never a truer sentence spoken, what is wrong with this douche, seems to have a real issue with Peel.

On the AFL side, some people think Razor Ray has an issue with Freo. I don't, I think he has an issue with having to be seen and is a massive over-actor but I don't detect bias and he makes me laugh - what is he four foot two!!

Lyon said on 6PR that Mora is still not fit enough and that it wouldn't be the worst thing if Mora didn't play at AFL level this year. But they think he still will at some point.

I reckon he'll get a couple games as the sub or a bit part game.

Seriously doubt he'll get a final.

It looks that way. He would need more than a few games as the sub to get used to the game plan and intensity. Unfortunately he would likely be a liability in finals.

They should at least give him a taste at some stage this season, if for no other reason than to motivate him for yet another long preseason slog.

Yeah that was my thinking too. I know we don't do sentimental or gift people games but FFS how long is it since the guy ran out in an AFL match and how much work has he done? Would it threaten our top 4 chances to let him be sub against GWS or some shit, give the guy some reward for effort.

Yep. Kid needs to return to the AFL this year. Has there ever been anyone who has returned successfully from four years out of top line footy?

I admire the club's single minded focus on Mora's long term future over any short term focus or consideration of the club's needs.
Need to put our expectations and wishes in abeyance here and purely and simply leave it to the experts who have made it crystal clear that Mora's feedback is central to how the programme of rehab is formulated and monitored.
Easy for us to say he needs to play, has to,should etc but we don't have the detail to know.
Having said that RTB says they expect him to play and that is almost certainly how it will pan out.
The club is taking the most informed and intelligent approach possible. It's hard nosed, pragmatic and centred on Mora's career and in all likelihood beyond that as well.
As sliced has pointed out the club really is committed to Mora in an admirable way which must be both a reassurance and confidence boost for him.
The fitness levels required for the modern midfielder are phenomenal.

I think the young bloke at Geelong who recently did his 4th knee was Menzel. This is Mora's last chance as I see it. He has to be given every opportunity this time because our window is wide open now and we need to keep it open. We cannot afford to have a wasted spot for a 4th year. Sad but true. I wish nothing more to see him barnstorming down the wing kicking goals ala the Hawks final but this our best window in 2 decades, we need to keep it open.
