I know we dont want to really copy other sides in our quest for success, wanting to make our own way to the top, but there is one point that i came across when reading about the strategies and plans etc of the dawks leading up to this year.
The one thing we have steered clear over the stretch, barring the Craig McRaes of this world are assistants from interstate. And by interstate i am talking about the footy states in WA and SA. Why dont we have people that have some kind of knowledge of the interstate player pool?
I have been a big advocate for the inclusion to the coaching panel of Pressa, who is at the bummers with Knighta. Pressa had a pretty successful stint in the WAFL and would bring some kind of interestate player talent knowledge to the tigers. In other words you get a two for one deal, by having an assistant who has done his apprenticeship and a talent spotter, to help out FJ and CC.
