From the Blues perspective, while beating the Pies is enjoyable, it doesn't really mean much because their list is predominately loaded with middle-of-the-road types, and a large cohort of no upside oldies. Richmond and the Dons just aren't relevant anymore. Geelong is probably the most anticipated game, because they won the flag, and knocking them off will be nice. The Blues are really the only team with the raw list talent to worry the Cats. The Hawks game will also be great. This game is predominantly an exercise in whether or not we can stop Franklin. If we can we win, if we can't we lose, as their outfit is pretty much a one man show. The top-8 in 2007 was probably the weakest we've seen in the past 15 years or so. Therefore there's a huge opportunity for other teams to step up. :)

So Franklin kicked 16 goals against the Blues when they pummeled them by 100 points last year? :)

Essendon VS Collingwood out of those matches. It all depends on what team you support. I would also like to see the Eagles smash Carlton and Judd when they play.

Collingwood vs. Geelong resulted in two fantastic battles last year, so it's hard to go past for 2008.

I'm looking forward to the blues beating the weagles but from this list carlton giving collingwood a good spanking closely followed by geelong breaking collingwoods heart with a narrow victory !

Personally Essendon Carlton is the one im looking forward to. I hate Carlton more than any other team, probably cause i have so many mates that go for them.

Games that include any of Collingwood, Hawthorn, Geelong, Port, West Coast and possibly Fremantle playing each other as these teams will be contenders.

Games including Essendon, Carlton, Richmond and Adelaide won't be contenders so the interest probably dimishes.
