Prediction Most improved, Biggest disappointment

Daniel Rioli will kill it and Ben Lennon will languish and be delisted.

Rioli looks like he has put on muscle and gained confidence. Helping out with Bolton and Stengle will increase his maturity and leadership skills, he is going to take it to the next level next season.

Ben Lennon will continue to not put in enough work. If he doesn't play round 1, then I expect him to barely try at VFL level again and probably only get a handful of games.

Fingers crossed i am wrong about part two.

Most improved - Cotchin & Griffiths.
Why - wishful thinking. Just think a 2012 Cotch & a mobile monster in the forward line would make the biggest impact at the club.

Disappointment - I think Conca will keep tracking at the same level even if he gets an injury-free run. Vlastuin unable to break into the midfield and stays in the backline.
And of course Delidio will have an absolute shocker of a shit year.

Griff the most improved for mine, without TV lurking around Griff can make the forward line his own. He has all the tools and I'm backing him in to find that elusive consistency knowing that he's now the main man alongside Jack.

Brandon Ellis to continue to disappoint, the guy just seems to keep going backwards. Opposition teams have his number and if he doesn't reinvent himself and greatly improve his contested work he'll struggle for a spot in the 22. You're a big strong man now Brandon, get in there and play like it and for Christ's sake work on that decision making!

Most improved Ivan Soldo and Daniel Rioli
Disappointment Ben Lennon and Ben Griffiths.

Ivvy Jnr had a strong finish to last season and apparently being doing extra fitness work during the preseason. Prediction to get senior games in the second half of 2017.
Daniel Rioli will be our next superstar.

Ben Lennon doesn't seem hungry enough to make it and Griff will continue to be too soft and inconsistent.

He struggles off HBF and that's where he played a but this year. He was at his best when he played on the wing and getting forward. I don't know where they intend to play him next year but with Yaz going and someone on here mentioning he was training with the backs looks like he's going to be there again.

Most improved Markov and Macintosh
Think Drummond may surprise

I think Lennon will disappoint I know he got cut some slack because of the glandular fever
But I get the impression he sulks a bit and I don't think he has that iron determination required at this level
My opinion of Brandon Ellis is pretty low so he would have to work very hard indeed to disappoint me

Im gonna put it out there - biggest improver will be BEllis. This year I hope he gains some confidence, and this leads to better decision making and less first-instinct backwards movement with the ball. Hopefully also a move away from the back line which I don't think suits him st all. Feel free to remind me of this if he has another crappy year like he did this year

improving-vlaustin,drumond.if nick gets his tank right he will play more midfield and improve his output for the club.drumond just needs a good run with injuries and he will be best 22.i hope im wrong but for al the reasons already stated griffiths will fail to star.i also think this will be batch's last year.no pace or attack, does not find the ball enough and is an awkward height.i will throw it out now thou and say that nankervis will be a cross between greg stafford and justin charles and have a very good period at the richmond football club.

Improved - Lennon. It's a contract year and I hope the penny has dropped that this is his last chance if he enjoys this lifestyle/work/money. Risky, but I'll back him in.

Disappointment - Griffiths, I can't stand watching him as a player and inconsistent is probably his biggest compliment. I hope he is predominantly in the VFL next year if he continues the way he has been playing.

*Obviously I hope I'm wrong about the latter.

Improved: Dusty will turn it up to 11 and finally put together 22 four quarter games. Certainty for the Brownlow.

Disappointment: I think Shedwards will go missing this year. Which is a shame.

Elton and Griffith could be the most improved if left to play as kpf's and they would set the club up for the next 5 years. It is more likely with the addition of nankervis and most other areas attended to during the off season , however the past assistantwo coaches have me terrified about how the forward could operate.

The recruitment of prestia and Caddy will expose flaws in Griggs game and I can see him not getting a game, although he has appeared a coaching group favourite in the past and therefore will be given opportunities over miles.

Most improved Equus , i think his sacking from being a mod will take the pressure of him, and he can just post for fun again as opposed to making shit tan titles

Biggest disappointment will be Groupie_ , as i think hell have sfa to say in 2017 now we got rid of blk

That may change...

I was reading one of those 'Redo the Draft....' threads from Ellis's year, and it was very interesting. At the start (say, after 1-2 years) Ellis was probably the rated the 2nd best player from that draft (behind Wingard). Over time, that has dropped, and he's now probably out of the top 10.

I wonder if the disappointment Tiger fans feel about Ellis is due to his great start and subsequent lack of improvement.

If on draft night we were told 'Pick 15. In 5 years he'll be a consistent outside runner - top 3-4 possession-getter in the club'. Would we be OK with that?

Expecting good consistent years from 3 kids Markov,Drumond & George at both levels.
Expecting a massive disapointment from Dangerfield,Selwood,Harry & Hawkins.
